Acoustic Country Guitarist for Weddings & Events in the North West & North Wales
Ifan is an experienced acoustic guitarist and vocalist, and one half of the award-recognised country duo Kodiak Avenue. With a strong musical background and extensive live performance experience, he delivers polished acoustic performances for weddings, events and private celebrations across the North West and North Wales.
Growing up in a musical family, Ifan began playing piano at seven before taking up the guitar at twelve — an instrument that quickly became the focus of his musical career.
While studying music at the University of South Wales, Ifan performed regularly with bands at venues and festivals throughout the UK, including London’s iconic 100 Club. He later spent several years gigging with a busy cover band before joining a Pink Floyd tribute act and an originals band, performing as lead guitarist and providing backing vocals. This experience helped shape a versatile playing style across multiple genres.
Alongside live performance, Ifan has also undertaken recording and session work for the BBC, further strengthening his experience as a reliable and adaptable professional musician.
Modern Country Duo for Events & Weddings
In 2020, Ifan teamed up with Jayne as part of the Kodiak Avenue Virtual Band, collaborating with musicians from across the UK and abroad. He played lead guitar on several modern country tracks, including Somebody Like You by Keith Urban, which received airplay on Absolute Country Radio.
Today, Ifan is a full-time member of the Kodiak Avenue acoustic country duo, providing expressive acoustic guitar and vocal harmonies at weddings and events across Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester and North Wales.
His playing style is refined, adaptable and well suited to live events, whether supporting relaxed acoustic moments or more upbeat, crowd-pleasing performances.
